I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Dorinda

We're happy to tell you that Dorindahas a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Dorinda is a very sweet, high-energy girl. Her favorite things in the world are playing fetch and staying near her hooman. She has two modes: play outside or nap on the couch. She’s happy to do either as long as you’re with her.

She has been working hard on basic obedience and knows: place, sit, down, food manners, door manners, leash skills, and recall. Woohoo Dorinda!

She does well with other dogs and she’s been working hard on her social cues and should be monitored when meeting new dogs. She isn’t a fan of young puppies who jump at her face. She does best with pups around her age that will respect her boundaries but also play hard with her. She does well with cats and doesn’t bother her foster’s cat all that much. Though every now and then when she’s super happy and excited she’ll try to entice the cat by slightly jumping at her to play. She does well with kids, sometimes she just forgets how big she is and might accidentally push over younger children. She would do best with older children that would respect her boundaries and understand her size.

She does have some anxiety (girl, who doesn't). She doesn’t like it when her hoomans are upset even if that isn’t directed toward her. She will jump up to a 5-foot fence to search for her person if you leave her. She does go willingly in to her crate but cries once you walk away.

She is fully potty trained, but this girl is an early riser so be ready to let her out. She will go to the door when she needs to go potty but does not whine or vocally signal that need.

Dorinda has so much love to give and deserves the best life. If she sounds like the fun, happy pup for you, get your application in today!
