Word of Mouth
We rely on Word of Mouth to help spread our Mission and let people know that we exist! Hopefully, Path of Hope Rescue will someday be a household name in our community synonymously linked with rescuing puppies and pregnant moms. We want the community to turn to us before they buy. We need your help to make this happen. Here are a few simple facts to use as an “Elevator Speech” when talking to people about the Rescue. And remember, always be recruiting! Recruit family members, friends, co-workers. We need fosters to save more dogs.
Path of Hope Rescue started in 2018 as a one woman show.
In four years, we’ve grown to over 150 volunteers and over 1,000 ADOPTIONS!
Our mission is to rescue pregnant moms and puppies at high risk of euthanasia in the Southern United States, primarily Texas. We transport them out of the South and find them adoptive homes in the Pacific Northwest.
Texas has a problem! They are euthanizing dogs in the hundreds every single day. Pregnant moms and puppies are some of the first on the euthanasia list, due to space and resources.
Dogs are not treated the same in Texas as they are here. Dogs in the PNW are family members and treated that way. In the South, many dogs are discarded and abandoned. There are so many unwanted pregnancies and these helpless mommas end up a shelter or on the street to fend for themselves.
We work with Rescue Partners in Texas to get these dogs out! And give them the lives they deserve.
In the Pacific Northwest, it’s hard to find puppies, unless you want to buy from a breeder. We are giving adopters the chance to truly rescue a puppy.
We are 100% foster based. We do not have a shelter location. That means, we 100% rely on fosters in order to save dogs.
We are a registered Washington Non-Profit 5013c organization.
