  • Possibly! We do not have a one size fits all fence policy. We consider every application uniquely. However, if you live in the city or urban area, we will most likely require a fence. We are much more lenient for rural properties.

If you'd like us to complete a 'fence check' prior to applying, please send an email with your address and photos of your fence to: applications@pathofhoperescue.com

  • Yes! Although we take into account the dog you are applying for and your lifestyle. Additionally, If you rent, please see the rental requirements above.

  • Puppies are hard! We want you to spend your first year with your pup bonding, training, and helping them grow into good doggos! Believe us, doubling your trouble is not a good idea!

  • We know it's hard thinking about separating siblings, but one puppy at a time is our policy. Believe us, once that puppy starts eating your baseboards, you will be grateful you only have one to deal with!

  • It certainly is. Like any surgery, there are risks, but our veternarian has the best reputation in the PNW for her pediatric surgeries. If you have additional questions about pediatric spay and neuter, feel free to email spayneuter@pathofhoperescue.com

There will be no exceptions on this policy. If this is a dealbreaker for you, please save your time and do not apply.
